Please read this disclaimer carefully before using Chatlr. Using the service means you accept the points below.

1. Chatlr is not OpenAI

Chatlr is an independent service operated by CliqStream B.V.. We are not OpenAI. We are not affiliated with, owned by, sponsored by, or endorsed by OpenAI OpCo, LLC or any of its subsidiaries. "OpenAI", "ChatGPT", and "GPT" are trademarks of OpenAI OpCo, LLC. We use OpenAI's public API as one of several AI providers we route to. References to OpenAI products on this site are nominative only.

Likewise, "Claude" and "Anthropic" are trademarks of Anthropic, PBC; "Gemini" is a trademark of Google LLC. Chatlr is not affiliated with any of these companies. Provider names and logos appear in our interface so you can choose which underlying API your conversation runs against; that is the extent of the relationship.

2. AI output may be wrong

Chatlr returns responses generated by large language models. LLMs can and do produce output that is inaccurate, biased, outdated, or entirely fabricated — including invented citations, fictional people, and incorrect technical instructions. Do not rely on Chatlr as a source of truth. Verify anything that matters against authoritative sources before acting on it.

3. Not professional advice

Output from Chatlr is for general informational and exploratory use only. It is not, and must not be relied on as, a substitute for professional advice. Specifically:

• Medical: Chatlr is not a substitute for a licensed physician, therapist, or other medical professional. Do not use it to diagnose, treat, or manage any medical condition.
• Legal: Chatlr is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. No attorney-client relationship is created by using the service.
• Financial: Chatlr does not provide investment, accounting, or tax advice. Consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions.

If you may be in crisis, please contact the emergency services in your country.

4. Third-party providers

Your prompts are forwarded to the AI provider you select via the tier / provider picker. Each provider has its own terms, content policy, and acceptable-use rules. By submitting a prompt you agree to comply with the policy of the selected provider in addition to Chatlr's own Terms of Service.

We have no control over and no responsibility for the responses generated by third-party providers. We use providers' zero-retention modes where they are offered, but we cannot guarantee how a provider logs or processes a request on its own infrastructure.

5. Service availability

Chatlr is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any specific time. Outages in third-party providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Cloudflare, Supabase, Stripe) can and do affect availability.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CliqStream B.V., its officers, employees, and contractors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, Chatlr — including damages from reliance on AI-generated output. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred euros (€100).

7. Changes to this disclaimer

We may update this disclaimer to reflect new providers, new regulations, or operational changes. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the most recent change.
